Hydrangea's
They are so beautiful, yet one of the most delicate of flowers when it comes to heat. Summer, outdoor weddings are a challenge for these flowers. The key is to keep them in water as much as possible and to spray them, several times , with a product that helps the petals retain their moisture. Never put them in design foam (oasis). They are best used in handwrapped, clutch style bouquets. Keep them in a well air conditioned room, if possible, and in a vase of water as much as possible.

Choosing Colors
I ask the Bride what her main color is and use that to dominate the bouquets. Then, I ask for two secondary colors to compliment the main color. Under those colors, I'll use either white, very dark or very bright tones to accentuate the top colors. Texture is just as important as color. Compare the petals of every flowers and partner them alongside another flowers that will set it off. Don't be afraid to put some 'personality' into your bouquets. Add Jewels, fun ribbons, buttons, etc.
