I got acrylic nails for the first time ever when I got married, big mistake. I had a heck of a time trying to wipe myself when I went to the bathroom. I think if you are going to get nails for your wedding, do it a couple months before so you know what it feels like and you can determine what size works best for you. I would not recommend doing this the day of your wedding.

Oh my gosh! I had to laugh a little on this one. Sorry, but that reminded me of my first set. I was 13 and played the clarinet (huge band geek). I had to perform at a football game that night  and I sounded horrible. I couldn't put my fingers over the key holes like I usually did. I was so mad.

Yeah, I did the acrylic nails for my prom and I will never do them again. Too much trouble taking them off and yes, you have to get used to wearing them. Everything feels different.

I did my own nails for my wedding, nothing special, just a French manicure. It was so not a priority for me and since I always take good care of my nails, it was no concern to do anything out of ordinary for that day either. But when it comes to acrylic nails, it is a definite no for me as well - they are just a pain in the rear and for the money you pay, it is just not worth the headache.

I don't think something as artificial as acrylic nails is good for a wedding. It is better to make vows with your groom in the presence of God in all your natural beauty.
