Hello guys, anybody here who is planning to have a beach wedding or had a beach wedding before? This is really one of the dream wedding of my friend. She wants to wear a tube white dress and a lots of flowers around them. Well, I haven't really attended any beach wedding, that's why I'm also wishing that her dream will come true. :)

I haven't attended a beach wedding, but I've seen some in the movies and on tv. It's not as formal as the church wedding though, with the wind whipping at your clothes and hair. I don't think formal dresses are appropriate for beach weddings.

I went to Jekyll Island, Georgia a couple of weeks ago and I said to my daughter "what a great place to get married".  I'm trying to put it into her head... lol- she is 12.  I have a good friend who flew to Hawaii and got married on the beach.  It was there 2nd wedding, no family, no friends... just them.  It sounded pretty nice to me.

My son is getting married this coming June 11, 2010 and I believe a beach party after the wedding is good place to stay.

My mom had a beach wedding. Her dress and flowers were absolutely beautiful. A bit of casual elegance would be good for a wedding of this nature.  Tropical with the breeze and the waves lapping at your feet after the ceremony.
