I have been a maid of honor FOUR TIMES.. count FOUR and one of the most  important things I've learned is  that nobody really sees your shoes so go with what's comfortable. By the end of the day your feet will ache so much even in the most comfortable of shoes, but if you go for something that feels even the slightest bit awkward at the time of fitting... you will be in big trouble.  Some of the best shoes for weddings are the simple balet flats... just put a nice cushion insole and you are good for the whole evening!

I have to agree with you. Also, you never wear the shoes again if they are uncomfortable, so it is like a waist of money.

My daughter is in a wedding this summer and the girls are wearing flip flops!  How much more comfortable can you get.

What style of shoes will you be wearing for your walk down the aisle? Some brides choose strappy sandals or dyeable pumps, while others opt for less traditional footwear like wedding flip flops or even sneakers. Finding the perfect pair of wedding shoes doesn't have to be stressful...

Just select shoes after selecting the wedding suits....Shoes must be relevant to the wedding dress.

I agree with you SweetZ that nice comfortable flats can go a long way in a wedding.
