our mind creates our own stresses and anxieties.
control of the mind is your salvation.
try meditation and yoga.
tune your body to the natural timings of the world.....early to bed and early to rise.
Best wishes

I have to agree with the early to bed. If you are running yourself ragged, you will definitely have anxiety.   Especially the week of your wedding.  Plan it so you have alot of free time to just relax and reflect.   Schedule all of your activities during the early evening so you can get to sleep at a decent time.

Ofcourse, to avoid stress and anxiety, yoga and meditation will be help ful.But in a single day yoga and meditation cant help.So planning and execution should be perfect.Schedule all of your activitie and plan some time for taking rest also.complete rest and relaxation keeps mind refreshed.

If you are a beginner then you can start with basic yoga like Pranayama and Yoga Nidra.

I think I dream about the wedding every night , and usually that something has gone wrong, or I just dream about the decisions I need to make: like the colour of the stationary. It is quite a annoying but I'll probably get used to it.So planning makes every thing perfect....

All of a sudden yoga and meditation wont give a good result. So just have a complete relexation and rest.Always stress management therapy will be useful...like playing games or swimming etc.

control your mind.. meditations and yoga.  well! meditations and yoga are medications for anexity..  Yes! i do belive, because they control a human brain, but my suggestion is we can controll our brain well without  any meditations and yoga.  any how brains is our's and it is working as we put order.  as we see or insert any cool vision to brain it always be cool.

Obviously ,anxiety is a uniquely human experience, And also it is a state of uneasiness and apprehension about future uncertainties....to avoid such circumstances, have proper counselling .

i find that walking outside is very relaxing for me.  Also, a bubble bath with candles in the bathroom.  That always makes me feel more at peace and less anxious.  Is anyone taking time to pamper themselves? Does that help a lot? I am only a few months in to planning, so a lot of it is new to me.

That is true, anitha, about the mind creating our own stress and anxiety. To prevent it, plan and organize the event before hand with the help of friends and relatives. Take time to relax and get plenty of rest. Don't panic! Meditation really helps.

I never thought I would be the antsy type but trying to plan a wedding and get through all of the hectic insanity that comes with it, took its toll on me. I am pretty sure for the first few days of our honeymoon, both of us just slept. We still had fun times and all, but if we could have doubled the hours in the day it would have been more time to rest and relax and still party too. If you have the help by friends and family, by all means, have them help.
