Day before the wedding?

How many of you had your party the day/night before your wedding? My party was at my apartment the night before, after our rehersal. It was fun, but kindof frustrating. I would have liked to do a little more but was so worried about how I would be the next day.
All I had the night before was the rehearsal dinner. All the parties were held before that. Believe me, it was stressful enough just doing the rehearsal and the dinner.
I had an amazing party the night before that lasted until the wee hours of the morning. I was so hype that I did not even want to go to bed when it was all over. I actually slept only about three hours and was still feeling hype when I woke up, lol.

I can't imagine having a party the night before the wedding, after the rehearsal dinner. What type of party was it? A shower? I don't plan on having one, but I'm curious about yours, BrideMama.
I did. It wasn't a huge drunken party. My bridesmaids took me out after the rehearsal dinner and my FH went out with his groomsmen. We both made sure to be home at a decent time so we weren't hung over for the wedding.
So you had a bachelorette party after your rehearsal dinner? Or did you have a separate bachelorette party before that and then did another party the night before the wedding?
We will be having ours a couple of weeks beforehand, I, like some of the other posters don't think it would be good to do it the night before. I want to just relax the night before so I look beautiful for my big day!
I honestly think that it could be a bit of a risk.
I don't think you can truly let your hair down and enjoy yourself. I would have been far to concious of how I would look the next day to get too drunk, or over eat, or not even getting enough sleep.
I think it would be better if you held the party before the last night since that would also be a rehearsal. Then just have a small party after the rehearsal so you wouldn't be that worried for the next day.

I think it would be tough to have the bachelorette party the night before the wedding. Oh geesh, I hope my friends don't throw me one the night before mine. I should some how hint around about that to make sure it doesn't happen. I am going to be stressed enough, I am sure!
My party was the night before my wedding. It was a rough one the next day. My girlfriends and I had been out late. I had 2 hours sleep and had to get up and get dressed for the wedding..lol
