Decision....Australia or the Maldives?

Right, well I thought our honeymoon was pretty much decided, we were going to Australia for 17 nights, but now my other half has brought up that he would like a secluded island honeymoon and said Maldives, he's showed me where he'd like us to stay and it does look beautiful. So now I am confused as he has left the decision to me!!!

We have twin girls who will be 3 when we marry, they will be staying behind with my parents when we go so we would like to go somewhere that we wouldn't really be able to go with them due to cost etc, both of these ideas falls under that, we couldn't travel oz with them as they are a bit young and we'd have to wait till they are old enough and summer hols, they would also get bored in the Maldives and it wouldn't be like a real holiday with them with us as they would want us around all the time. So its not like we can choose one now and do the other another time. So what do we decide?!?!? secluded island or travel Oz?

This is so difficult, I don't want toregret my decision when we get there, where ever it is that we end up lol
