When do you think is the right time for the bride and groom to have their first dance?

When I was married, we did it after eating. 
When my son was married, they did their dance as soon as they arrived at the reception.  It was lovely!  I think this is a nice way to start the reception.

I would prefer sometime after the eating and cutting the cake.  Definitely should be done before you open the dance floor to all the guests.

I prefer to have the first dance after eating, so the guests are not too hungry to appreciate the dancing and everyone could join and enjoy dancing afterwards.
