We had a combined party for friends it was by far the best bachelorette party I have been to yet. We started at a friends' house that we could have the girls in one room and the guys in another for gifts (The guys, played cards and such). Then we got together, ate, had drinks and then went to the casino nearby (riverboat) for a couple hours. After, we had the party bus take us all to local bars. We were all friends and the couple wanted to hang out with everyone, girls and guys, so it was the best decision we made!

Sounds like it worked out well for your friends.  I think it's a great idea if that is what you want.  I like the different rooms though.  I prefer to keep the parties separate- we all need a night out without each other.  The casino sounded really fun too!

As always opposite poles attract each other , it is better to have a combined party .And also it will be very much interesting if it is conducted in picnic spots and casinos.

Have the party start at like 2 in the afternoon for the kids, have a dinner and then have the kids go to a babysitter or a supervised play park so they can all hang out together and then the ladies can go out on the town. Both parts of the party will be a great time.

Sounds like everyone had a great time.  I love the idea of starting out seperate and then getting together for the remainder of the party.  It works well if everyone is friends with each other too.  If the bride had friends that didn't like the grooms friends, it wouldn't work.
