How did he propose?

My husband got down on both knees and gave me a necklace with a heart pendant and diamonds. He said this is 1/2 a carot the other half will go here and he touched my ring finger.

My husband and I were in his basement on Christmas Eve.  He went into the bathroom and came running out and got down on one knee and said, "Will you marry me?"    I was so shocked I said No??   like he was joking.  Then he showed me the ring and I then said yes.

I waited until 3am and then finally plucked up the courage to do it myself! When I did pop the question, "Will you marry me?" my (now) husband said, "Of course, darling, but we already are - we always have been." Which I thought was very sweet.

Am very much restless before proposing...but technology made it so simple..I just mailed her.

my man proposed me when i was standing in bus stop.. we used to meet everyday.  we used to have some eye conversation.. as days passed he came to me took me to the ice cream parlour without my permission, there he said.. his words were more sweeter than the ice cream...  i experienced greatly..      

Has anyone else experienced like me?

My husband and I randomly met on Orange Beach, AL while I was on Spring Break. Later, after we started dating we shared our first kiss on the beach. So, on New Year's Eve, he set up a wonderful picnic on the beach exactly where we met. We were sitting there bundled up in a blanket watching the fireworks when he got up on one knee and asked me to marry him. I'm not sure I even let him finish his sentence before I said Yes!!!!

We were getting ready to go out for my birthday, I am in the mirror doing my hair and makeup and all of a sudden I heard something behind me. I turned around and he was on both knees with a ring box in his hand and he asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I always tease him that he proposed in the bathroom lol! It was sweet though how nervous he was!

 We had talked about it for years, even before we dated when we were best friends (and still are), but I always brought it up first and he said "okay, when you ask I will answer", I guess its a good thing I finally asked otherwise we might still be playing the round and round game.

I guess as a woman I expected the movie or fairytale proposal and got the total opposite. I was a little disappointed how he proposed to me. We were at his house, just me and him, and I was getting ready to go home when he said I have something for you. He took the ring box out, opened it up and handed it to me and said will you marry me. He didn't get down on one knee or anything but I said yes. We had talked about getting married for a couple months prior so I knew it was coming, I just didn't know when. We have been married for 9 years now and have two children.
