Hydrangea's

They are so beautiful, yet one of the most delicate of flowers when it comes to heat. Summer, outdoor weddings are a challenge for these flowers. The key is to keep them in water as much as possible and to spray them, several times , with a product that helps the petals retain their moisture. Never put them in design foam (oasis). They are best used in handwrapped, clutch style bouquets. Keep them in a well air conditioned room, if possible, and in a vase of water as much as possible. The nice thing about Hydrangea bouquets, is that you can dry them (upside down) after the wedding and enjoy them a little longer as a dried arrangement.
