Hi all
I really really really want to wear my wedding dress while i travel to our honeymoon but my mum thinks its a bad idea and no one else does it, she said i'll look stupid but I really want to make the most out of it and wear it for 2 days not just my wedding day!!
Its not big and bulky and will be comfy to travel in .. and we'll hopefully get an upgrade 2 .. hehe
What does everyone else think about it??
Shall i do it .. or listen to my mum .. i can't decide!!
Wow you go girlfriend! lol! The only thing i would say is, being cabin crew for BA myself, if we ever upgrade we have to assess on what the person is wearing so they don't stand out in the premium cabins and offend the premium passengers. Please don't take this the wrong way but if i saw a passenger in their wedding dress i wouldn't upgrade as you would stand out. But please don't let this put you off from something you really want to do though x
I wore a pair of fluffy fairy wings when I got married ... and proceeded to wear them, on and off, for the next week. I also went on honeymoon with my husband (of course), parents, sister and two ex-boyfriends! It's the only time you do it so do it the way that's right for you!

great! if you think that its fine and your comfy wearing your wedding dress..then why not? go girl!
If you are willing to stand out and be stared out in an airport or wherever you are going, then go ahead. For me, that is okay, if you are travelling by car the whole way, but if you are going on public transport like an airplane, that is a diffferent matter.
It all depends on how you are getting there and how long it is going to take. Of course you want to be comfy on the way there, but what you wear is fully up to you - it is your day after all, and your wedding.
If you want to do it go for it! I'm fairly shy and wouldn't feel comfortable with everyone staring at me, but if you don't mind I don't see any reason not to. It's not like you will ever see any of those people ever again!
