I the only person that find this incredibly difficult? I've watch countless tutorials online and they all make it look so easy, but when I go home to do it, it looks nothing like what they do in the video. Any of have any words of wisdom?

I am like you.  I can't do liquid eyeliner.  It seems to come on too thick.  I like using a pencil so I have more control.
