So - a friend is getting married, and we're looking for low key ideas for her party. No nudity, please! She's not particularly extroverted, so anything that involves the spotlight on her is out. However, we'd also like to celebrate our friendship in a special and memorable way. Any ideas?

Hi Naturegirl,

I get these questions asked a lot at my website. More and more women are turning to group parties to celebrate the moments in special ways where there is not the typical stripper and booze bashes for bachelorette parties.

Here are some gift ideas we had sent in to us that were reviewed by the Diva Team.

Here are some party game ideas.

Since you know your friend the best, the question to ask would be, what does SHE like to do most? Is it hiking in the mountains? This time of year it's starting to rain, as you and I both know living in the great NW... or, perhaps a lovely spa day celebration with a few of her close girlfriends. Getting together over tea, perhaps could be lovely. Or make it a nice getaway weekend in the cabins. It would all depend on all of your living situations, what you can do affordably and comfortably in a meaningful way.

I remember four of us going away one weekend to the cabins for a very special retreat. We lit the fire in the fireplace and did some spiritual drumming that only the four of us could do: Cindy, Wendy, Kat and I. It was magical. I've tried drumming with other women, but it just wasn't the same. We drummed for Wendy's upcoming wedding. That was a very special moment for us.

If money is tight, you don't want to worry about finances right now. You want to focus on the bachelorette and her special time. So, I want to put in here that Facebook fans enjoy special coupons available on purchases toward our online stores. If you become a fan, you can enjoy special privileges and discounts beyond the general public. This can go far with our trendy games. You really can't put a price on fun and memories!

I personally know how special these times are and what fun this can be. It really is all about the love and the energy we put into the meaning of the occasion. So, plan ahead, be prepared to have fun and party!!

Happy Showering!!
