if anyone else did this or knows of anyone who did this and if it's acceptable. I haven't been to many weddings so I'm not sure. I chose my sister as my maid of honor which was an easy choice for me. But my one bridesmaid who is a very close friend of mine recently got married and I want to ask her to be my matron of honor. Would that be acceptable or no? And how would I work that with the procession and things like that? Plus I would be hoping that my other bridesmaids don't get offended.

I think it would be okay to have a matron of honor and a maid of honor at the same time. And I don't think the bridesmaids would take offense with that kind of set up.
