Make your own cd

When my neice was married she didn't think it was important to pay a dj to play music. She decided to pick out the songs that were important to her and her husband. They made a cd and played this music at the reception. It was wonderful. They had specific songs for specific events. It worked out perfect and saved them a fortune.
thatsa very good idea.........collect some romantic songs .. which is pleasure pleasure to hear ...
For those who are soon to get married, I guess, it would be better you start collecting you favorite songs for the reception. If you have friends who know's more about the music field, why not request them to lead on your day?
I had the same thing done at my wedding. Now, I must admit, not many people agreed with our taste in music, but at least we had the songs that we both loved to listen to and didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for a DJ that probably wouldn't agree with any of our choices.
The last wedding I went to the best man was also the DJ for the after party so for his gift to them both (and neither knew about the other), he gathered all of their favorite tunes and played those for a party - along with a few here/there of his own and those from the wedding partys for groomsmen and bridesmaids.
That is a really great idea! I have chosen several I really enjoy but haven't decided on that part with any certainty as of yet. I think that was a really sweet thing and a great gift!
