Preserving Your Dress

How do you go about preserving your wedding dress? I have a little girl and would love to have my dress put up in case she decides she would like to wear it at her wedding and am not sure how to go about it. Do they use chemicals? Is there a way to do it naturally?
Do not take your dress to a regular Dry Cleaner. Find one that has the means to clean wedding gowns. We had one dress that had lots of lace and beading come back torn and missing beads. Look into boxes and tissue that prevent yellowing. You'd need something that will absorb moisture. Sealing the box with the right glue or tape.
I sell kits that provide everything you need to send it to a professional company for dress preservation. The dresses come back in a beautiful, completely sealed box with a window to view your dress. Cost is $125.00 (plus tax & UPS fees).
What can you say with those who preserve their wedding dress and give it to your daugheter when she's already getting married. Do you think it is alright? Some would think of different wedding dress to wear, an original one for the very important event of her life. ^_^
I would keep the dress for sentimental reasons, not because your daughter is planning to use it. That said, I would absolutely keep it, and if she loves it, she may decide to wear it!
It costs about $100+ and as said above, I think that friends have taken theirs to someone who specializes in wedding dress preservation, because you don't want them to wreck the dress.
