Stage fright!

Hi everyone. I really can't stand talking in front of people, not about things that are important to me anyway. Does anyone else think that you might suffer from stage fright when it comes to actually saying your vows? The weird thing is that I am actually fairly outgoing otherwise!
Personally, I was a little anxious because I knew I was likely to start crying when we said our vows. But I made it through, we just repeated ours after the pastor said them, that way we didn't take the chance of memorizing them and forgetting them.
I think it would reassure you to know that even the most outgoing of us have little butterflies in our stomach when it comes to speaking in front of everyone. You might be nervous up until the time that you get on the stage to recite your vows but once you open your mouth, you will see that it will flow out very easily and you will forget all about being anxious about it.
Don't think about the other people who are standing behind you and your groom. Just imagine that it's only you and your beloved who are there with the officiating.
I can relate to that little problem when it comes to talking in front of many people. But that was years ago. The trick is to tough the challenge when opportunity comes. Eventually, the stage fright will no longer become a problem.
I didn't have an issue saying my vows. For me I had a problem with walking down the aisle and having everyone turn and stare at me. I tend to look down or away from the people who are starring at me so most of my pictures of me walking down the aisle are with my eyes pointed towards the floor.
