I agree that when it comes to the engagement ring and the wedding band that it is completely up to your taste. I've seen tons of people who have a simple band and tons of people with stones in the band. The band I have chosen has diamonds in it, but it is becauses it matches best with my engagement ring.
It is all up to the individual. Some like the plain bands, while other like them with stones. My wedding ring has 3 diamonds on it. It also has etching to make them look like stars around the diamonds. My husbands band has the same design as mine.
