What do you think about a combined party?

Both my fiance and I have friends of both genders and a lot of them are shared friends. My sister is also married to my fiance's best friend. They are going to throw us a combined party. I'm really exceited about it because it will be even more fun with ALL my friends there not just my female friends. YAY!
Sounds like fun!
This way you know that there won't be strippers at your fiances bachelor party.
When we threw my neice a bachelorette party it was all girls. It was so much fun because it was like a girls night out. Once married, you don't get enough of them (especially when the kids come along).
Having a combined party can be nice but I really enjoy just the girl parties. It's so much easier to let your hair down and be silly without your groom to be ahd other men being around. Girls just want to have fun and sometimes girls can't have as much fun with men around.
I think whatever works for the 2 of you. I like the idea of "both" parties. I'm with the girls on this one though. I'd go for a girls night out anyday over sharing a party with my fiance. I get more wild and crazy and have more "let it out" fun when it's just the girls. There can be guys there too- just not your fiance.
If it worked for you 2, then it works.
You are fortuante to have so many things to celebrate and a family that supports you. Good for you! I think it is a great idea to have a combinded party. The more you have to celebrate the better. The planning and decorations/themes for the party might be a little difficult to tie together, but who cares, you have lots to celebrate and much to be thankful for. Congrats
well i think its a good idea.. a lot of savings on the part of the host i guess..
We had both types of parties put on for us. I know my fiancé enjoyed the combined parties more than when he went with the guys. However each personality is different. At my girls parties the guys met downstairs and watched TV then came up and cleaned up the leftover food. My girlfriends enjoyed the chance to tease the groom and he took this teasing like a gentleman - turned beet red. It was a lot of fun.
Of course it is a good idea, to share their opinions by arranging
the party like get together, and also to save the money, energy
etc.., so the combined party is the best one for me...
I too think it is a great idea to have a combinded party. The more you have ,you have to celebrate better.
And economically it is very much advisable for combined party. It also saves the time.Because conducting two parties may take extra time. And we all know that time is precious.........
yes i agree with you i also do the same thing,me and my friend gives both parties.....it is very economically and time saving one.
best idea, you can make your birthday in the park in public
try to make it on grass b4 the sunset
and after the sunset blew the candels
that would b so romantic
make one big cake
My friend gave following parties
1. Boat Party
2. Night Cricket party
3. Orchestra Party
4. Cocktail Party
can you sugggest me good innovative ideas for Family party
before my marriage?
Ya i like orchestra party... during that party i will sing along with the orchestra....... and my friends enjoys song....
The morning of, or a few hours before the party, remember to take time for yourself. Relax in a bubble bath to feel cool,
calm, and collected at party time.
I really think that having a joint party is bad luck and you will regret it. You will be worrying about paying attention to your kids and paying enough attention to your boyfriend. Handling both of them sound like much fun to me. Separate party is the way to go with full josh...........
It's your wedding! You can do whatever you want to do! While it is not traditional, there is also nothing wrong with it!
Also, keep in mind that the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties don't have to be crazy wild nights with drinks and strippers! They can we a guys night bowling and girls trip to a wine tasting or whatever you guys are into!
But do what you want to do!
it sounds great an orechestra party ..... i will suggest my friend to keep the combined party
on ship along with an orchestra...........
Combined party hmmm its smells great ....i have not got a chance but i dream i could do the best if it happens to be........
I also didnt know about combined party.......will it be nice?....somebody please give me information that happems in that party
it sounds so funny u people can make out the best enjoyment with friends around........... njoyyyy
actually its a good idea! cheaper since its a join one and more fun thinking that you can meet the others too(male or female friends)
I personally wouldn't have wanted a combined party. It defeats the whole purpose of having a bachelorette party if the fiance and his friends are there, even if they are mutual friends to us. But if you like the idea, then I'm sure it will be very exciting, have fun!

Wow! That sounds really fun! Congratulations by the way. I guess that would make the party more merrier.

Hmm... You're right about that. Maybe it would really be fun if everyone in it is really close with each other.
