When did you go on honeymoon?

started looking into honeymoons yesterday and have a few places I would like to go but they all fly out on stupid days after the wedding.

I get married on saturday 27th June and the flights either fly out on the sunday which is to soon or on the Friday which is to late due to leave from work and don't want to go in to work just after the wedding for a few days!!

I am looking at Italy, Cyprus and even Cape Verde islands and we always go with Thomson as had problems with Thomas cook in the past.

We are going for a week so any suggestions? recommended holiday companies to fly with??

just a suggestion but why not fly out on the friday after the wedding for a week but tell work you'll be away for 2 weeks?
